Our latest foray is "The Enchantment of SangKuriang" at Theatre Studio, Esplanade on 17 to 19 Apirl 2008. It's a modern drama based on the famous legend of Sang KuRiang, where mythical animals, gods and humans mingle, mix and mate. Read more!

Debut showcase performance by Gamma Rays, a new gamelan fusion sub-group of Gamelan Asmaradana, on 3 June 2007 for Asian Arts Mart 2007 at The Concourse, Esplanade.

Invited to accompany three silent films - Woman of Tokyo by Ozu, Nightly Dreams by Naruse, and Osen of the Paper Cranes by Mizoguchi - on 21 March 2007 at the University Cultural Centre Hall. To give each film a unique character, the musical accompaniment for eacg film has a different mix of Indonesian gamelan and other Southeast Asian instruments, and styles.

2005-2006
What an honorable experience it was!! Gamelan Asmaradana performed for U.S. President George W. Bush and his wife at the Asian Civilisation Museum on 16 November 2006. Click here to find out more!

On 12th and 13th July 2006, Gamelan Asmaradana performed at the Teatr Piesn Kozla, Wroclaw, Poland; and won the award!
