Gamelan Asmaradana's collaboration with SimplyWorks at Esplanade Theatre Studio, Singapore.

"The Enchantment of Sangkuriang" was showcased between 17 to 19 April with a cast of three directed by Jeffrey Tan. The play was accompanied by live music by musicians from Gamelan Asmaradana.

It was reported in The Straits Times on Monday, April 21, 2008, Life!People section, that "the live gamelan orchestra provided the melancholy strains of Indonesian music arranged by Joyce Teo.The orchestra was a nimble creature, providing sound effects one moment and acting like a horror film score in others, such as during the murder of the dog."
